♥ Nazi Germany- The Face of Tyranny
♥ Written By Ted Gottfried
♥ The pictures I’ve seen throughout the section I read were pictures of Hitler, Jewish men in the ghettoes, and a picture showing Hitler’s arrival in Vienna, Austria.
♥ Losing World War I was an embarrassment to Hitler. After the loss Hitler overheard a few German men singing, “We Germans did not lose the war. It was the Jews who betrayed us.” Hitler turned the song into a Nazi national anthem. Hitler and the Nazi party promised to restore “to Germany nation the territory which it is due on this Earth.” Hitler blamed the greedy business men for the depression in the country. He blamed the Communists for the labor battles and food riots. He also blamed the German government for not cracking down on the profiteers and the Communists. But above all, he blamed the Jews of Germany- and of the world.
Who ever was unable to work would just be killed. It was mostly kids and old people. The sick would get treated even worse. They would give them less food than the people that were working. They would do that because they said because they weren't working, they didn’t need that much food. There were some people that were liberated if they didn’t seem like a threat to the SS. Hitler was born in Austria, in 1889. After World War One he became involved in politics. They would also make little German kids think that Jews were bad and to stay away from them. There were some prisoners that would paint to live. The ideal German family was blue eyed and blond hair. Jewish people were sent to ghettos. Everything was old and broken.
this book is about the camp system. when they had started the camps, which they built to send the jewish there to kill them, but that was only for the death camp.they have a labor camp, concentration camp. they wehre sent there to be slaves for the germans, but in 1941 they killed as many jews they could in the death camp but most of them were already killed in the concentration camp. the way that they had killed them where by these things known has gas chambers for the jews could put the mass on their face and they would die instantly.the germans did everything they could to kill the jews because of the dislike, the germans where known that they didnt like the jews so they went to conquere them and take over and kille them. the labor camp started in 1940, where they didnt kill the jews they work them to death back back everyday.but when they where sent to the concentration camp it protected them from the germany beause they was also a threat to them so they where in protective custody.million of the jews were killed.
The book that I’m reading for my morning blog is the same I read in Friday which is called “ prelude to the holocaust” know it talks about the anti-Semitism. The anti- Semitism has been around from a lot of years. The Nazis had been anti-Semitism with the Jews. The Jews were persecuted for their religion and their social reasons. The Christians blamed the Jews for crucifying Jesus Christ. But a lot of Jews were going to prepare to move religion they were going to became Christian. For this reason they attracted hostility from Christians that could flare up into expulsions, persecution, and murder. Another problem that the Jews had was social reasons the Jews were trying to fit in the country but the people look at them as strangers. They were conceded like that because of their faith, language, and culture. When they were destruction in the country the Jews were prefect for them to blame. They blame the Jews for a lot of things that happen in the country some were economy problems, epidemic of disease, and even natural disasters like floods. Their a picture of a lot of Jews being burned during a outbreak in the middle age.
This morning I read the same book, Life and Death in the Camps. Today I was reading about Friends and Societies. The Security Staff, tried too hard to stop the prisoners in the camps from setting up any kind of group, even from making friends. Societies with the same religious beliefs could help each other. Groups of people would or could plot revolts or escapes. Friends were the people who could help the people from giving up, they helped them from just stopping whatever they were doing. The first thing that the SS did was they separated the families. They divided the camps into groups or different categories, for example, the women and younger children in one place, the men and older boys in another place.
I think it was terrible that they did this, but for the Nazis plan it was the best thing they could do. They had to do whatever they needed to do just to get where they had to get, and they did whatever they had to do. They were very organized.
An added danger Jews who fought the Germans faced more brutal treatment of prisoners of war soldiers captured in war was set by rules drawn up in Switzerland in 1865. This set of rules was called the Geneva convention the Nazis applied these rules to some prisoners and not to other. Prisoners from Britain, or the U.S. were more likely to be treated properly. Nazis ideas about race led them to see these prisoners of war as coming from the same Aryan race as Germans. On the other hand, captured Russian soldiers or Jews prisoners
The name of the book that I read is the life and death of Adolf Hitler and the section that I read is the early years. The birth of Hitler took on at six o’ clock on April 20, 1889. Hitler was baptized two days later after his birth. Adolf's birth certificate name was given as Adolfus. The book also talks about how in a picture it shows how he inherited his moms features he has the same oval face, the same bright eyes and the same nose and mouth. Hitler also had a step sister Angela witch was five when Hitler was born. Hitler also had a step brother Alois witch was seven when Hitler was born. Hitler's mom treated all her kids the same and loved them the same. I think atht there must have been something in Hitler’s life that made him be so cruel and mean.
