The new town they built was supposed to be the size of a small town. There was no water, no proper flooring and everyone was crammed in. the Nazi’s felt that cramming all the people in still wasn’t enough. They wanted to put nine people in three slots. They didn’t built the homes to house Jews but to kill them. The Nazi’s considered Jews sub human. The first year 300 people died of starvation, disease and physical abuse. It was so cold that it was hard for some of the Jews to even move. People were scared, they could die any minute and not know why. Death, death, death, death at all times a day. The Nazi’s would have meetings every Tuesday mornings to discuss how they would control/run the concentration camps. Auschwitz didn’t have much to do with the Nazi’s yet, until later. 1941 there was a bombing that left many homeless. One official took advantage of it and dictated a letter to Hitler saying that he would like all the German Jews to the East. They sent a letter to all Jews 24 hours prior to the moving saying that they would get relocated to the East. In the Morning they took a train and the train was sealed from the outside. None of the German Jews were sent straight to Auschwitz, they were sent to a ghetto. In the east they hated the Hamburg Jews. People in the Ghetto looked tired, ragged, and they didn’t pay attention to the people who were getting there. They didn’t look decently dressed at all. In Poland they were making another camp, that’s where they would send the Jews of the selections. Hitler blamed the Jews about starting the war, they also blamed them for loosing the war. In private, Hitler was secretly asking to exterminate the Jews. They wanted to exterminate the Jews, but they couldn’t all be shot because they needed all the ammo for the war. In January 1942 there was the first selection to send the Jews away. Jews from the fist immediate area died there. People would be undressed, and they walked down the corridor to a windowless chamber. They had all been in a gas van crammed in. They were invented two years earlier to kill the mentally ill. Many of the Germans that worked in Bellmore thought that everything they were doing was legal and correct. Many of the Jews worked to death. At the camp, you couldn’t trust anyone because many coworkers would use it to their advantage. There was a lot of backstabbing. One of the most disturbing thing was about how they forced the Jews to take many life and death choices. V man would abuse women. He was known for having a temper and being really mean. V man was also a Jew but he had a place in the Government. Later he and his family got the same fate as many of the other Jews, he and his family were killed. There were big killings since 1941. People would raise roof tiles and they could see everything that was going on outside. Although the walls were great you could hear the screaming of when people would get shot or tortured. During the summer of 1942 Jews from outside of Poland also became deported to Auschwitz. There were also Jews from Slovakia. Slovakia was new, it was created in 1939. Slovakia also hated the Jews. “A Jew would never go to work, they only wanted to have an easy life” said a SS soldier. When Slovakia asked for slaves, the Nazi’s offered 20,000 Jews and their families. The saw that separating the Jews with their families was unchristian. They offered to pay RM 500 for each Jew. Some of the SS soldiers would crap so the Jewish women would have to clean it up with their hands. For a lot of Slovakian Jews would get imprisoned in buildings. Women would be beat and they were called Jewish whores. The SS soldiers would take the Jew’s clothes, and belongings. Everyone would take all they could. He thought the Jews deserved it and they knew that the Jews were going to die. Although they knew among them were innocent people, they didn’t really care. 60,000 Jews were handed over to the German. They no longer cared about the prisoners that they had caught, they were now focusing on the Jews. There was open land, and they would built a gas chamber, known as the little red house, or bunker 1. In a shabby cottage there were 10’s of thousands of Jews killed. There was also a little white house built in just the same way. The Jews would have to dig holes, they didn’t know what they were for, until they started seeing how the Germans threw the bodies in the holes. Until the Russians stopped everything and helped the Jews. Maybe history would repeat itselft, but I doubt it because our civilization is more mature and serious about stuff like that.
1941 to 1942 the Nazi will plan new things for the war and their plans. The Jews will stay in the same place where was so much little space. In three slops they will put in each slop 9 prisoners. A lot of the prisoners died from disease and physical abused. The Jews had resided a letter that they have to live. The Nazis hated the Jews so much and they took them to the ghetto. Their were building camps for the killing of the Jews.
When Hitler was losing the war he say that it was the Jews fault. The Nazis were trying to hide all evidence of all the crime they did with the Jews. They declared to kill the Jews or make them work until they died. The food they will give them it was nasty you have to trade something to get something better. The Jews that will be select to not work no more they will sent to the crematory. One of the SS soldier say that the Jews never wanted to work before so that’s why they will send to the camps.
The Jews women had to clean the crap that the SS will do and tell them to clean in it and hit them. They ask one of the SS why they did that he say because they deserved it. They find a new place to kill more Jews they will tell them their were going to take a shower and they will kill. They built a lot of crematories. What I learned by watching this movie was that the Nazis people wanted the Jews so much that they will not care of what they will feel or suffer when they will ask them why they will kill the Jews they will say because they deserved it. What I think about all this was that even dew you hate someone that much you can hurt that person a lot. What I think was discussing was when this women say that the women had to clean that crap that the SS solder will make. The sad its thing I read was when this why was saying that the children's will cry when the SS will make them take their clothes and they will cry and the moms will calm them I think that so sad because the little kids are not their fault of everything that is happening.
The German Jews received a letter sating that they were going to be sent to the east and top bring one suit case. in 1941 the Japanese bombed the US and German being one of Germans allies declared war as a result against the US.

April 1940, Auschwitz 1 was created. Polish Jews were not meant to stay in Auschwitz 1. Nazi occupation of Poland was To collect slaves. Polish, were dead coming to Auschwitz within 20 months. Prisoners got hung by the arms. It was a crime to take another prisoners grub. Camps were getting overflowed with prisoners. Disabled people were killed, adults and children. Pipes were not connected to water, but they were connected to gas.

It had all started off as a prison. Auschwitz. Instead of hold 3 prisoners in each slot of the bunk they fit 9 people. where its all crammed up and unspacey. Instead of having 550 barracks they had changed it to 750. People had died everyday there, they were dying from starvation, disease, and beatings. they were being abused by the officers there. The SS soldiers.They had lived with death. there was death everyday. Death in morning , afternoon , and evening. If an officer didnt kill atleast 10 people by the end of the day they would not be able to sleep at night.
I think that the jeews were treated very unfaily and wrong. They were taken from there homes and sent to the east. Hitler wanted them to be gone , and exterminated. He was telling everyone this and getting everyone to go along with him by propaganda, and anything to do with media.
There was many life and death situation that had came up doing this point and time. They had found many ways to kill the Nazis and to torture them. There wasnt many survivers of the tradegy. And those that did survive were scared for life and will not forget anything that they had went through.
Auschwitz started off as a camp for Prisoners of War. (POW) The soldiers that were captured from the war were mistreated. Auschwitz had nothing to do with the Jews, but eventually they would be deported to Auschwitz. During the war, Auschwitz was only a temporary place for prisoners. Auschwitz was still in the process of being created. Hitler becomes involved with it and blames the Jews for the loss of the German war. He then decides to “punish” the Jews by getting rid of them. Jews were then sent to the camps to be killed.
Instead of 3 prisoners sleeping in bunks, there would be 9. Instead of 550 in barracks, they changed it to 750. Starvation, disease, and abuse. If an officer did not kill up to 10 people a day, he could not sleep. August, Auschwitz still had nothing to do with the Jews. September bombing 1941 left many homeless. Hitler blames the Jews for the loss of Germany’s war. Autumn 1941 Hitler decides to deport the Jews. Jew’s were taken from their homes and sent to a new home in the east. The trains were sealed from the outside so no one could escape. First destination was the Lodz ghetto in Poland. September 26, 1941. Lodz ghetto became over crowded. Herbert Langer was to kill the disabled, or anyone that is “unproductive.” Blew up buildings to hide evidence of the killings. Disabled were sent to the back of trucks, crammed in there and gassed to death. They called them the Hell Vans. Dead bodies were brought to forests' and buried. The final solution, extermination of all the Jews. Many life and death situations came along. Zyclon B – Prozig acid was practiced on prisoners. To hide the screams of prisoners, they would have engines, motorcycles and other loud noises run through the hallways until the screaming was over. The Engines did not cover up the screams. Slovaks and Germans agreed to pay 500 RM for each Jew deported out of Czechoslovakia. The German Officers would defecate on the floor, and the Jewish women would have to clean it up with their hands. Officers would steal Jewish clothing and bring them home. Over 60 thousand Jews were handed over to the Germans. In a little cottage, tens of thousands of Jews would be kept in there to be gassed and killed. Selection, Men, woman and children, and old people were separated.
The Jews are mistreated and killed on the daily basis. The Jews became “experiments” Germans would test any and all types of ideas on the Jews. I think that it’s very wrong for them to do that. But then again the Officers didn’t really know why they hated the Jews. All they knew was “Jews are bad. Destroy them.” I hate how all this has happened. I can’t believe people could be so cruel and not even go against it.
Today I learned that people were way more violent back then. Its crazy how they treated the Jews like if they were nothing. They thought of ways of how to kill thousandths of Jews like if they were noting. There was also a lot of bad things said about them on the news and radio. That made people from Germany and other places hate them.
I think Hitler was dumb for blaming the Jews for losing World War 1. He was just a crazy guy. The SS soldiers were bad too. They would take a crap and tell the Jewish people to clean it up with their hands. They would also call them Jewish whores.
I don’t think history will not repeat itself. And if it does, I think the whole world will go to war against Germany. I also think that the Jews will fight back and get their revenge. I also think that the Germans still have a lot of hatred towards the Jews. The Jews have suffered a lot and I think the Germans owe them an apology.
Jews blow up lots of houses. They would put old people in the trunk of the car and then the carbendioxis was let out .they would call it the death car. they would drive the car by a remote and they would drop off the people far away. they had ghettos in there niebor hoods. They called the Jews women's call them hoes and all other stuff. Now they are looking for the Jew instead of the slaves they let them go.
They had many gas chainbers . They would have 10,000 people killed. In 1942 they had to face the ss. They had the ss soldiers were yelling at them get out and or bad stuff. There was many Jews berried on there fields. There had a large cremators. They would blow the crematory up in flames.
If I was a German soldier I would have to kill the Jews. I would kill lots of them. Before they try to kill me. I would be really mean to them. If they were doing some thing bad I would just shoot them with my gun. I would be scared because I would have to kill the Jews. They would ask me to kill them or go put them in the crematory and I would have to .thays what I would do if I was a Jew.

The Nazis were making plans to make a town. The town was suppose to be for prisoners of war. They were going to be all mashed up together in small rooms. The rooms were going to hold nine people. They only were mint to hold less than half that number. The floors were badly built the walls were all uneven. They had a loading trucks that many Jewish people died in. once they went inside their was no getting out of the chamber of doom.
Auschwitz was not really for Jewish but for prisoners of war. All of the polish Jews were trans ported their after a long time. The polish Jews were treated worse than any other Jewish person. Most polish Jews didn’t even know were they were going they just got their suit case and left. They weir tolled to go to a train station then got inside. The Nazi people locked them in from the outside.
I don’t think that what they did was right. Killing all of those innocent people just for having a different religion. The Nazi people were crazy all they did was kill every day. The Jewish people weir frighten by the guns power mistreatment. They should have found a way to fight back instead of obeying them. Many people died in the gas chambers they all went into them with out expecting a thing.
I think that all of this is too sad. I think that both of the videos that we saw were very interesting and I have learned a lot from it. I think that it is sad that the soldiers that they show in this video still don’t feel sorry for what they did to the Jews.
I think that if I was living back then I would help out the Jews. I don’t see how the soldiers could be so mean and want to hurt someone that bad. I mean for some one to make a person clean after them and with their hands is one of the nastiest things you could do to someone. The video also shows a women that looks really upset at the way that they use to treat them. The video also shows a soldier that laughs at the things that they used to make the Jews do. Back then they would make the Jews die of starvation just for fun and make them suffer.
I feel bad Jews because I know that if I was a in their spot every time I would look at videos like this I would get sad. I mean those are their ancestors. I can’t believe that they soldier still laughs at what they did. This are all my opinions from the video.
What I learned in the video Is that there was a lot of death. People would died almost everyday. Thousands of people were killed and homeless. What I think about this is that is unfair that they had to be killed just because. I would have done something if I was them even they would like it I will still try to defend myself and my people. I would even give my life for them so that they could stay a live.
I feel sorry for the Jews that have been mistreat and had been disrespected. I wouldn’t be able to handle none of the people that would disrespect me in the way that I would feel offended or touch. But in there situation is different from mine because they were forced to be suffer they didn’t had no choice.
In the video there was a women that has been grateful for how the Jews were treated. what I think about this is that it is sad that is a women that feels great for what they had done to them. Because I always thought that women were more weaker than men.
The section of the film presented today was of the mass murders of the Jews that included children and women.. This segment was the presentation on how the Nazi ventured into new territory of mass murder. This is an abomination and a dark scar In history , as I have said in my other Blog entries. At Auschwitz in 1941 the started on work on a new camp that would be located near the site of the old camp site. The new camp would be designed to hold prisoners in appalling conditions. On example of the worsening conditions of the new camp would be that nine prisoners would be assigned to a bunk when they were originally meant for three. This in my opinion shows that they weren't seen as human or even animals. These buildings were no longer places to house prisoners but to exterminate them. They were originally intended to political prisoners of war and not for Jews. Only a few hundred form the thousands taken to the camps as prisoners taken to the camp survived. One former prisoner interviewed in this presentation said, “I was alive now and dead the next it was completely unexpected.” In this section it told me that they were robbed of not only life but of hope that there was light at the end of the tunnel that place was death, so they “lived with death”. The Jews in the eyes of the Nazis were considered sub humans, inferior being that meant little to nothing to them. Hitler believed in the propaganda against the Jews at the time the propaganda stated that Germany lost the first World War because of the Jews and that they were all traders to Germany. Power, propaganda and hatred all lead to sure destruction if this was allowed to continue there would be no one left to house as prisoners and start with the persecution of another section of humanity until none were left.
Also in the segment it showed the deportation of the German Jews, they were allowed one luggage each, they were taken from society that they were well integrated and in front of their non-Jewish neighbors. The German Jews were sent to several ghettos in Poland to imprison the Jews, they were transported by carts and train and had to endure a two hour walk to get to the ghettos. They were moved into slums many of the people did not understand why the people of the slums dressed and live the way they did. They were so far indisposed to believe it, this tells me that They were respectable well off people who were taken to these ghettos.. The corruption in the ghettos was also shown in the presentation as the head of the ghetto who was Jew abused his power of deportation and used it against the people of the ghetto to molest several young women. Taken form their humanity they were beast of not faith but of the world and of survival. Trading and back stabbing became common place in the ghetto and you couldn’t trust your neighbor. Then in another twist a foul fate The Nazi saw the overcrowding of the ghettos as a problem The solution they came up with was to kill the unproductive Jews. It was a war against the Jews and Hitler in private called for the extermination of the Jews. The first selection of the ghettos were made and several Jews were taken from the ghettos unknowing of their fate, one person interviewed knew that a fate unknown would certainly mean death. They were sent to an extermination building were they were led into long corridors to be killed by gas vans which were the center of operations at the camps. Two miles away from the extermination buildings.
All the events that occurred had led me to think if I was in place of the one of the SS would I stand up against an injustice and face a most certain death or allow it to continue? Would the propaganda fed to me affect my actions? if I saw the Jews as evil would I feel remorse for the deaths that had occurred? Well my answer is the more noble of the two but it is uncertain that when the gun is pointed at me I would keep my stance. When faced to death most people will go survival of themselves and that will cause us to lose interest and affection for other people allowing us to do what is necessary to survive. Corruption of the mind if what I fear most to think not my own thought but those of some corrupted power. Would a shred of my rightful justice jump out if I see the death of an innocent or will I be to far gone?
After watching this movie I learned how cruel people can be. I still don’t understand how they can have so much hate for someone who never did anything to them. They are so cruel. Do they have any feelings. In this movie there was a guy who actually helped the Nazis kill them. He didn’t seem like he felt bad for what he had done. He was laughing when he said that he would take the prisoners clothes. How mean is that. I think it is disgusting that people like that can live with themselves. How can they not feel bad for what they had done. The Jews never did anything to them. Some say that it was the Jews fault that the Germans declined. I think that the Germans just wanted to blame their failure on someone. I cant believe that they planned all of this. I mean how can they plan to burn people and physically exhaust them. I think that is very inhumane. I feel so sorry for the Jews. I saw the look in those people’s eyes. They looked tired and there was a very deep sadness in their eyes and they way they talked. What they went thru I something that be with them for the rest of their lives. It surprised me how so many people could hate a certain group so much. What also surprised me is the fact that no one found out while it was going on. I think that everything is possible. I think that maybe there is something like the Holocaust that may happen or is happening . There is always that possibility. And I think that the Jews are very strong people for surviving such a horrible situation. The people that survived are very brave for being able to talk about it and for not giving up.
